Bestigo: A Script Amp That Earns Its Space
Designer Notes You’ll Actually Use
- Test Bestigo in black and white first—no gradients, no textures. See how the spacing breathes (or doesn’t) at real sizes.
- Check small-size readability on actual mockups: print a 12pt version on kraft paper, view a 16pt version on mobile Safari, test it on a Cricut cut file at 0.75” height.
- Compare uppercase vs. lowercase in context—not just isolated letters. Notice how the ‘A’ and ‘R’ behave differently in caps versus running text.
- Review kerning pairs manually—especially ‘To’, ‘Ve’, and ‘Wa’. Some defaults need light adjustment in logo lockups.
- Try Bestigo beside five type categories: a serif font, a sans serif font, a script font, a handwritten font, and a display font. Observe where it harmonizes and where it clashes. (Spoiler: it sings next to geometric sans serifs and stately serifs—but fights with loopy scripts.)
- Confirm commercial licensing before adding Bestigo to client assets or digital products. Script Amp offers clear, scalable licenses—but double-check usage rights for SaaS platforms, editable Canva templates, or physical merchandise resale.
